Hey ROC STARZ!!
The R.O.C. Book Club has launched our annual book drive for 2013!
As we approach the new school year many high school students and their parents have great difficulty meeting their educational expenses. One of the major factors is the increase in prices of secondary school text books (ranging from $5000 to $35,000 JMD).
While most schools offer a wide variety of text books in their book rental programs there is still a large number of both text and work books to be purchased for more than twelve subjects by each student. It is with this in mind that the R.O.C. Book Club aims to help offset these expenses for our student volunteers and scholars. ROC volunteers and scholars serve their schools and community and continue to commit to their education.
During the month of August and September we are collecting new, used or old TEXTBOOKS that are still in good condition for these students.
